How do you add a machine like this to Mastercam?

We have been using M/Cam since X3 days, pay the yearly maintenance and approx every 2-3yrs we upgrade. Have had a couple of different computers in between and all our IT dept does is clone the drive to the new computer. If I look at the current drive, in the documents folder, there are still folders from X6/2018/2020 and the current 2023 in there. We are starting fresh this year with a brand new Dell workstation in the next week or so. So apart from the post processor for our machine and the tool library, what files/folders do I need to copy off the old computer onto say a usb or the company's cloud server, so I can transfer them across? thanks

If my datum reference is .028 to ABC, and my result is .020. That's all good, but when I throw in my DRF, it throws my result from .020 all the way to 1.357. Why is this happening?

How do you quickly change your config files for switching monitor setups? I often switch between programming at my desk and on the floor depending on need and would love to be able to switch my setup quickly from a 2x 4k monitor setup to laptop, or 1 montor+laptop at home.

how do you align the mesh to the part?

Mastercam 2024 is an amazing release because it's mostly about making Mastercam an efficient CAM program to use with radically improved workflow. It's clear that CNC Software now has their shit together and is laser focused on this. I have asked for these changes for over a decade and been trashed for it by the good old boy clique from e-mastercam. Sandvik has tons of money and CNC Sofrware has been hiring like crazy. It's working. They are even making chaining less modal! Saving and reusing machining methods is also less modal. Simulation is less modal. Big changes with a more powerful view cube and lots more dialog box stuff put into their panels. I expect a move now to put more pop up dialog box stuff into their panel system in future releases. Their new graphical markers for drilling are incredibly helpful. You no longer have to backplot to see what's going on. All I can say is it's about fkn time CNC Software got their act together. I believe Mastercam 2024 is the best release of Mastercam ever.
